We are glad that you have taken the time to look at this page. I hope you can see that it was no accident that you came upon this page. We know that God has led you here, we know this because of His Word. The Bible tell us in
2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but
is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” The Bible also tells us in Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
What keeps us from being able to have a relationship with God is sin, the Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” We by nature are unable to be free from sin in this world. Because of this we are under the penalty of our sins. The Bible tells us in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Because sin has separated us from God and we have read that it is Gods wish that none should perish, He made a path for us through His Son Jesus Christ. The bible tells us in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Also in Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus went to the cross willingly, so that all that believed on Him could be saved.
This being said, what must we do to receive Gods free gift of salvation? Romans 10:9 tells us That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Gods Word also tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Now that you have seen that it is Gods wish for you to receive His free gift of salvation, and that it was not by chance that you came to this page, it is important that you accept His gift today. All you need to do is say a prayer from your heart to God that you realize that you are a sinner and that you realize that Jesus died on the cross to pay for your sin debt.
It is important that this prayer come from your heart. It will be important for you to find a church that preaches Gods word and speak to the pastor about this and receiving a full immersion baptizing in water. Acts 2:41 tells us in part “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized.”
